Fontaine Family Coins started with a collection assembled by Lamar Fontaine, my great uncle.  My mother was his niece(I say the favorite!) and was infected immediately by the "coin bug".  It became her passion until the dreaded disease of Alzheimer's robbed her of her skills and knowledge.

After her passing, the collection was inherited and we began the daunting task of cataloguing all the coins, doing preliminary grading, and deciding on a marketing plan.  We hope you enjoy browsing the site and hope you find something you would like to own!
